Good afternoon? ( GREAT AFTERNOON)

Post by Dave 2 dogs » Thu Jan 10, 2019 9:06 pm

I’ve been thinking for a while now of jumping from my e85 3.0 to a e89 3.5 . Stuartt very kindly agreed to give up he’s afternoon and meet up so I could have a look round he’s, and ( result) he took me for an awesome test drive to show me how he’s one performed.
I wasn’t sure where I was with all this before because I’d test driven one on Sunday and wasn’t sure if I still preferred the e85
I got home Sunday and put my e85 through its paces and made myself even more indecisive
Let me say, the meet with stuartt changed THAT !!
You’re car is stunning stuartt, if I can find something anywhere near that I’ll be happy, it was a test run I was hoping for and I was grinning all the way .
Was great to meet another forum member and he’s car , I’ll definitely be going the remap route stuartt 👍
Thanks again for the meet up and looking forward to some possible trips with you come summer

Good grip on the tyres there!

It'll be an E89 35 something or other not 3.5 as it only went up to a 3.0 litre engine before they replaced it with something even more hideous from the scribblings of a madman or woman!

Mini meet with 2 dogs

Post by Stuartt » Thu Jan 10, 2019 11:01 pm

Had a meet up with Dave 2 dogs today as he is interested in moving up to a 35i.

It was nice to put a face to the name and meet another great forum member, always nice to see a well kept Merlot Red zed.

Once back from a quick blast round the lanes I think he is convinced it’s the right move to make.

Hopefully Dave will be along to a few events this year to Enhance the ownership experience.

Anyone who hasn't been there when a N54 cracks up cold is always in for a treat , they do have a deep burble  & with a remap you can coax some decent cracks out of the back at certain revs on the overrun :driving:
I can see the appeal for Dave :P
