New wheels! BMW style 230

Post by esafaeian » Thu Dec 06, 2018 1:00 am

Just put on my new bmw style 230 wheels! I was going to get csl reps or style 225s originally but ended up with these as they aren’t too busy looking, far easier to clean/keep clean and the fit was a better one than the csl reps I was looking at! Anyway, let me know what you all thing :)

Looking good!

I’m generally on the fence about 19s. I think proportionally they work on the coupe far better than they do the roadster. Having said that, I’ve hovered over the ‘buy it now’ button several times on a set of 230s for my E85. Definitely like the simple five spoke design on these.

I always thought I’d buy csl’s but fell in love with the 230’s as soon as I saw them... They look even better in real life and from all angles. I ditched the run flats also so the car feels very nice a bit as twitchy as harsh as it was on 18’s!

Really suits the E86 I think. I bet they're nice and easy to clean

They look brilliant imho. Not that I am biased in any way. And they are really easy to clean.

Thanks guys!

IRD you're car looks really nice! nice to see another z4 with the 230s... I don't think many people have these wheels but it should be considered as they suit the car so well especially the coupe!

love them..
my unique, significant though, problem is that 18'' wheels are already too much for the streets where I live.
pity there aren't any 18", or are they?? Any hints?? :D

Very nice OP (and the others who posted theirs)
Unlike some 19" wheels, those ones don't seem to make the Z4 look like a roller skate

Dans6490, Black on Black with those wheels looks great....
I think your front number plates fallen off. :P

As a matter of interest I've seen a couple of z4 pics without front plates is this for photos, or do you drive around like that.. and is it legal?
