AA Book of 250 Road Trips
Good evening, All.
Thought this may be of interest. I picked this book up for a quid a couple of weeks ago from The National Trust Scotney Castle secondhand Book Shop.
Very interesting, if quite out of date. But a lot of the trips steer clear of any motorways and other routes that would have been changed or bypassed.
Looking at the routes in the National Parks, I don't think any have changed at all.
I've taken a pic of 2 of the routes in the Yorkshire Dales as an example.
If you can find the book, either on line or your local charity book shop, its worth the money and great reference.
If anyone wants me to take a pic of an area of the country you're thinking of driving in and upload it, let me know.
Jonee

Good find. I bought “Classic Motorsports Routes” by Dickie Meaden at some silly price. Another good one to keep in your coffee table for the occasional daydreaming sesh.

May I dare suggest a bit of over zealous interpretation of the copyright issue?

My copy of Dickie Meaden's book arrived today, MrPT. Looks a good read, with some 'Bucket List' venues I'm hoping to visit. Thanks for the info.
