Newbie ‘54 2.5 Midlands
Hi all
New owner - midlands based, 54 plate 2.5 SE. I suspect the former owner may have been on these forums as it’s well cared for...!
Car history -
2001 MR2 mk3 1.8 VVTI (did a lot of work to it)
Jago Jeep (google it!)
1997 SLK 230K
2008 Civic Type-S GT 2.2d
2010,Mercedes C220d
2013 Renault Megane Coupe
2015 Volvo XC60
2009 MINI John Cooper Works convertible
2016 BMW X1
First impressions - drives great, sounds great, very good condition and a full service book. Have already changed wipers and bulbs for 5000K, avoided LED after search on here RE compatibility issues
Only minors - think its got sticking brakes, thought at first may have been as sat on forecourt a month but getting steadily worse so worth a look. Understand not a major job to de-crud them, got a decent double garage and used to do a fair bit of work on my cars (rebuilt the Jago engine to main bearings, was a mk2 escort engine) it came from Evans Halshaw though and only a few days out so might get them to take a look under the warranty for what it’s worth.
Cheers
T

Yeap it’s tidy indeed, just the brake binding is only complaint but getting it seen to and otherwise seems it has decent money spent on it

Nice car!
Like the alloys - think they might be from the newer E89 model.
