Sunk mine after so much excluded from the concept... also seeing the Toyota Coupe squirming under Power cornering makes me think they still haven’t got to grips with the TC

I think the white sport model has the better looking front of the three and those wheels are gorgeous

This above shows starting prices of new BMWs.
Where in the line up would the starting price for the new Z4 be?
Would it be a similar price as the M240i convertible and be over £42k?
Or be closer to the M140i at around £35k?
Whereabouts in the pricing did the E89 fall when new?

With a big birthday approaching next year, I've been eagerly awaiting the release of further information. Looks wise, still not convinced, but also not horrified. I'll wait until I see it in real life. But at €60k for a non optioned M40i, no chance, that's £53k!! I'm sure it'll be heavily discounted mind you.
Think I'll take a 3 year old Jaguar F Type 5.0 V8

Those are the 19” V-spokes with the 275 profile rear tyres... optional on the Sport model. Agree, very nice looking.

One needs to be really careful about getting a random pricing document. Despite the EU I think that each country can have its own tax regime for things like cars.
Whilst not a Euro country there is a huge luxury petrol-powered car tax in Denmark. A Jag XF costs around 120k euro, whilst a Tesla can be got for around 80k euro.
Given that my Z4MR cost £43k 11 years ago, if the M40i comes in at, say, £55k, that feels about right.
Anyway it's all a bit academic for me. I am keeping the current Zed and I don't have £55k burining a hole in my piggy bank.

Hi just joined this forum. I’ve currently got a 2015 Audi TT which I’m looking to change for a new Z4 M40i hopefully. Had an M135i before which I loved.
The screenshot showing prices a few posts up looks to be from the German price list here - https://www.bmw.de/content/dam/bmw/mark ... 521482.pdf
From speaking to my local dealer the UK models should be available to configure/ price next week. First orders will be taken in October for November production and March delivery
The First Edition has the potential to be serious money arround £60k probably, but the ‘normal’ M40i should be in the £45-49k bracket. It slots just underneath the M2 Competition in the current BMW line up.

If anyone pays £60k for one of these (assuming there isn't a genuine M one in the future) they must be mental imo
