personally i just dont bother reading any of the arguments. it would be so much nicer if people had respect for each other, i frequent the forum far less than i did a few years back and the arguments is part of the reason

There’s no one rule that fits all, as often they’re very subjective who is or is not wrong.

The Mods don’t want a nanny state, it’s good to encourage debate provided people back up their arguments with challengable facts, they can get as heated as they like so long as it doesn’t resort to a name calling slanging match.
 
Ofc, it’s subjective, this is a forum after all.

However I have seen a few cases of mocking and name calling where there’s appeared to be no form of penalty issued.

I even know of some who have left the forum for this very reason and have had to resort to other BMW forums.

Just my tuppence worth.
