Still pinching myself...!!!
Bonjourno Zedders....
As some of you know I’ve been on 24/7 oxygen for 20 odd months after a heart ablation apparently damaged my right Phrenic nerve, with no natural recovery forthcoming and time for that to happen run out I’d pretty much resigned myself to sucking on wappy gas for the remainder as with no recovery the only option was to stitch the diaphragm open, a non reversible procedure and that would be that, along with the sadatory lifestyle that would come with it, not an easy thing to accept after being a competitive swimmer!
Cutting a long story short...(I know...thank chuff for that... )....and willing to try anything I went to see a Chinese neuromuscularskeletal physio...try saying half cooked on Strongbow.... that someone told me about, even though prof’s at the Royal Brompton in that there the London had said there was no cure, the things this friend had said I thought f**k it, £100 for the first session was worth a shot. This guys opening words were...”Your Phrenic nerve is not damaged and if we find a blood supply to it I can cure you. Errrrrrrr......oooooooookay, how exactly are you going to that my old fruit.... Well, after a lengthy examination over a couple of sessions he re-set my brain map, because it turns out my brain....(Easy fella’s......keep it down you buggers.... )....had shut the nerve down as well as my right kidney, and just needed a kick start. As easy and as complicated as that. Well I went home afternoon the last session, took my oxygen off and have not had it on in 4weeks now. A chest x-ray has confirmed the diaphragm is indeed almost back down to normal, it’ll be there fully down as I excercise.
Bizarre..? Certainly...but the proof is in the tank....I still can’t get my head around it....! Below was my arsenal which will be sent back to the air people as soon as I’m discharged.
We turn our noses up to alternative medicine as that’s how we’ve been brought up, to our detriment, pervious acupuncture has worked in the past and this is a mixture of that and kinesiology, plus a very very experienced Dr.
Happy....I’m ecstatic...I’ve got my life back..!! Just need to get rid of 2 stone of horrible fat now....
Have to say a special thank you to John..Exdos on here, he knows why...and to Ronk, a fellow former AF guy that has been a good shoulder. Plus PVR...he knows why too...! Thank you so much fellas..!
My thoughts and sincere best wishes go out to those on here that haven’t been so lucky....both them and family...I wish we could all have such a fantastic outcome.
Thanks for reading friends....!!

Yep, couldn’t be closer Mark, he runs a clinic at the Graves sports centre just past Audi on the Norton ring road. Google Dr Michael Lee, he’s a witch doctor mate..!

Wow thats a cracking read and I'm made up for you pal. Lets hope you keep on improving now they have managed to switch ya brain into gear.
If you'd had said you needed to get rid of 2 stone of ugly fat I would have suggested taking ya head off
I'm sure if all is well and you can start to get some steady exercise in you'l reach your goal.
