Very pleased with my z4 as a daily driver, it's comfortable & makes driving to work a pleasure.
The economy is pretty good as well 👍

I concur with this, great as a daily. Although I don't see that range at half a tank :tumbleweed:

You sure you haven’t just forgotten to reset the trip!?

I saw over 300 Miles out of the last tank and I was pretty happy!

Nope, that’s pretty normal for my car-getting on for 500 Miles a tank

Ditto Rob,
I can drive mine Plymouth to Hull, 340 miles door to door with .25 of a tank left.
That's on Tesco super unleaded, car is treated to a Terraclean every 10k.
I am on cruise at 75mph most of the way but stop regularly as I like to do a 'space-ex type service station exit' BLAST OFF...

Surely you've had it mapped for that type of economy? I only just about manage 550 miles in my Honda Civic Diesel!

Fuel economy is unaffected by mapping, it seems only diesels improve this way with a remap :?

hi,

My 2.0 M Sport AUTO only gives me 32MPG, i was very surprised as i expected around 38ish.... but my Landcover Discovery 3.0 diesel gives

me 32 mpg and on a run around 35mpg, and its bigger in every way.

As my daily driver the Z4 i am surprised at the MPG.

It’s all to do with the way you drive it, I could easily get 25mpg if I wanted to :o

i have been commuting around 35 miles round trip, its an auto box but still can't get it up yo 38ish, and i didn't think i had a heavy

right foot.

Interesting to see all those 2.0 owners on here what they are getting.

None of my Zs have been daily's so MPG never really been a thought but its hard not to be impressed by your car's capabilities Rob , mighty impressive numbers for the BHP & torque on offer .
The 35i on last weeks 1300 mile France trip averaged around 32-33mpg which i was more than happy with but soon drops to 22mpg on a sporty drive out :driving: for direct comparison on the Mway run home from eurotunnel i managed 330miles at 74-78 mph but arrived home with just 12miles left
