I used paintituk for my wheels a couple of years ago. Unsure whether they do door to door service, but they do a very good job. I paid £285 for a shadow chrome finish, 18'' wheels and new tyres fitted. Quite expensive compared to other places, but you're paying south east prices.

My dad got a guy out to do his wheels before he put his car up for sale. It was a mobile van unit and the guy does all the refurbs for allen ford upminster. Does a good job, but i think he only does the wheel faces and not the barrels. £45 per wheel.

Hey Jonny, why not just have all wheels off and leave on stands and get the wheels done properly?

It’s not like the car is used every week is it :poke:

And a rough cost for all four wheels would be great.
Why wouldn't you want to leave the car with someone and have them done properly?

A mate of mine does them not that far away from you (Raleigh) but you have to get the tyres removed first & give him the bare wheels.
I've used him a couple of times & been happy with the results

This is the best option as the wheels will get a chemical bath to strip them and put in the oven after painting/powder coating and you should end up with a much better finish than any driveway job.

Companies like Lepsons or Platinum offer a door-to-door collection and return service for the wheels so all you have to do is remove them and get the car on stands. They both have regular low-season offers for free collection/delivery.

Perry is right Jonny,

You would never be happy with a “driveway “ job so you would just be wasting your money as you would want it done again 6 months later.

Use a reputable company like Lepsons and get it done right.

I’ve got a pair of stands your welcome to borrow while it’s done if you like.

Agree what the guys say about Lepsons. Never had any done myself but have seen some of their work and they always seem to get recommended on forums.
