Oh yes, that is lovely. Phoenix looks great, it is a marmite colour - that said I love marmite too!
Enjoy your new car, keep us posted with any improvements and works in progress

Welcome to the exclusive Coupe club OP.

Phoenix Yellow looks great, and will look even better after you've got it detailed! Out of interest, what interior do you have - I love the bi-colour ones.

I've been using TWG Automotive for 3 and a half years now for both my BMWs and have always had great service. I know a couple of other forum members who use them as well. Will, the principal, and at least one of his technicians are ex-Sytner and they're happy to do as much or as little as you ask.
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

Welcome to the forum and congratulations for the car and the very distinctive colour!

yes, some gunmetal alloys might be a good addition...perhaps CSL replicas or others (keep the original wheels)
Z4M Coupe, Interlagos blue, black leather, piano black, stubby, OEM CSLs, evolve intake, cup holders...pretty much stock

Z4M_er wrote: Mon Feb 26, 2018 11:41 am Thanks!! No, she'll be well looked after and more a weekend joy. I just want to bring her up to showroom standard and keep her that way. I'm mega fussy/an@l/OCD (you name it) so will be just cleaning every nook and cranny over summer. I'm also a member of a detailer's forum and have all the kit. I've had 2 BMW's in the past.
But for this one, she won't be driven in Winter anymore and is now tucked away in the garage.
...And as for the CSL's, yes, they may be part of the future allocation, but another part of me wants to keep her as she is. I looked at 18's actually, (http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/showroom/product_info.php/new-cades-bern-accent-frozen-grey-cross-spoke-wider-rear-alloys-p-5308?cPath=51_27_134_46_297), as I heard that 19's can be a little crashy?
I'm the same with the detailing (in fact, I'm thinking of doing it part time as a little second job).

I'm on the 19s and once you get rid of the runflats they're okay. I'm no wheel expert, but if you're only using it for weekend then the stance they 19s give have to be worth it IMHO.

I look forward to seeing some more pics in the summer!!!! PY with a three stage polish will look mint!
Yes, true, I've seen a few photos of PY's with 19's, esp. grey CSLs or the like and they look cool. With your car, what suspension package did you go for and what was the drop? It has a good stance.

Re the polishing, I bought a Scholl Concepts S20 black sample pack for my last BMW, a 4-series, but never got to use them. My last car was Imperial Blue, a dark colour, but of course the PY is light. I may have to change my kit!
Mine has the sports suspension and I fitted some Eibach lowering springs. Drop was 30mm all round.

Thanks, Yes, really looking forward to making the paintwork pop!! The interior is Nappa black, and whilst I too am a fan of either a lighter or bi-colour interior, it wasn't to be. But, the statement is on the outside I guess. Certainly the interior is a nice place to be, and I'm not really bothered. I've had 2 BMWs with the oyster interior and they are a challenge to keep looking brand new. Not impossible mind, just a challenge.... It'll also get a good shampoo and treatment as soon as it warms up a bit.

Unfortunately TWG are booked up until April!! I'll get the fluids changed elsewhere for now, but keep TWG in mind for the future.

So, can you very helpful peeps point me in the direction of getting:
  • new badges front and rear
  • Z4 badge for the hatch (just considering)
  • Wheel centre badges
  • mud spats (just considering)
Thanks again!

EBay is your best bet for all the above, I should have a z4 badge at home I can post to you, but the rear looks much better debadged imo
Don't bother with the mud flaps, they look horrid on the Zed

Welcome, OP! PY is a grower, IMHO.. and its nice to have a colour that is a little more exclusive! Will be nice to see your progress with additions and the detailing. :)
