Just wait till boris gets planning for the channel bridge , that'll show you what a bridge is . I don't even know which emoji to click on, they all seem appropriate

Would have been better without the other cars in the picture. Thought the location would have been quiet on a Thursday
Turns out the location is now used by North Lincolnshire for the naughty speeders course Must say other than my Z4 not a BMW in sight? :driving:

Did you try a few lower angles? Hard to tell unless you are actually stood there, but you could probably hidden the red blue and white cars from view, behind the Zed

Did the Millau bridge a few years back. The bridge itself is a great feat of engineering, the drive there and back is good, but crossing the bridge itself is a bit of an anticlimax due to it being a motorway and all the side protection measures obscure the view.

Another one I want to do is the Oresund road and rail crossing between Copenhagen and Malmo. A two and a half mile tunnel to avoid interfering with air traffic from Copenhagen out to a man-made island and then a five mile bridge into Malmo.

So this is where I write about the car? 2003 E85 2.5i, sterling grey, red leather, 106s with Goodyear Eagle F1s, factory xenons, folding mirrors, cup holders, retrofit cruise control, Bilstein B4's all round. And a whippy!

Did this back in 2006. Had crossed on the ferry from Newcastle to Gothenburg (now defunct) and over to Linkoping where I was born, visiting friends and relatives for my 40th birthday :D . For the journey home we drove down to Malmo, over the bridge and then down though Denmark, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France to Eurotunnel and home.
The bridge is spectacular and great views looking west coming downhill before disappearing into the tunnel section and under the sea to the mainland. The toll was something like £15 one way back then ! :o

Collumbian Bridge collapsed during construction killing 10. Sadly, it appears that somebody got something wrong, either with the calculations or the anchorages.
