Which service and when ?

Post by Mavster » Sun Jan 21, 2018 11:02 am

Guys, I need some assistance from you regarding the servicing of an Z4M I am considering buying.

What is the next service due on this car please and when ? See pic of service history page below..

I am confused a little as the dash shows that an inspection is due in 13150 miles. Can this be correct Or has someone just reset this indicator incorrectly ???

The current mileage is 61k fyi

Thanks for any clarity you can provide for me

It’s overdue an inspection 1 service if going by the service book.

The service should have been carried out in November last year so not massively overdue but that’s what is required sooner rather than later.

Could be but don’t forget the dash is programmed based on mileage and not time so I could well be correct as the car hasn’t done many miles. But these cars should be serviced on mileage or time which ever comes first. And don’t let anyone tell you differently. So this is over due a service based on time :)

Its expired its regime on time only , history looks good , if you buy you could do a oil service immediately then go ins1 after 6-7000 miles . Technically its only done around 15k ( can't read the exact mileage ) since it had ins2
