Piano black is quite rare. I had wooden trim and got it professionally painted piano black at my local bodyshop, best upgrade ever !! :D

Getting the trim out is the hard bit, takes quiite a few hours. This was my thread on when I tackled it:

Incidentally, I got a quote from BMW for the OEM piano black parts, it was over £1000 !!!

hiya all, I'm sal new to this forum,anyway I have got a set of piano black trim,which I bought for my z4 then changed my mind,i wanted leather,i want £250 delivered for it in uk thank you :D

Id pay £250 for it if you don't want it, they are like hens teeth, sometimes seen them on ebay for £400+ !

Make sure they are for a RHD car.

TBH, £250 delivered is a good price for the set.. I quite want to change mine from ally, BUT I want the carbon leather, so that ain't gonna be cheap when a set comes up for sale..

Take your trim off, get it to the local body shop and you'll get piano black for £50....
