Youtube embedding no longer working?

I noticed but thought it might be only on mobile devices (Vimeo hasn’t worked on mobs for a while). Can someone on a desktop confirm if they can see the below vid?

Can't see it on Windows 10 / Firefox, or on my iPad.

Seems to have coincided with the change to HTTPS - Wonder if something needs changing in the embed code/tag?

Mike

Yep, you're correct. If you check the browser console you can see the video link is not secure and is being blocked by the browser.
If you just change the "http" to "https" in the YouTube link* it should work.

EDIT: *not YouTube link but site embed code

Don't think it will, as to embed, you use the end of the actual link, not the http/s bit - I presume something needs to be doone on the forum software with the youtube tags themselves.

Hey Mike, You're absolutely right. I've not embeded any video on here before so didn't realise.

OMG Paul, what you doing to that sheep mate :P

Nah, I can't see anything, a total blank screen

Noticed this a few days back. It's not working on my PC win7 & crome. My huddle. Android & crome. Or my Samsung S4 mini. Android and explorer. :?

This may solve the issue for admins and should fix and existing vids embedded http: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/how-to-force-ssl-in-youtube-vids.59686/

Can anybody see the above Vimeo vid? I'm prompted to Ctrl + click but then just see a white box.
