Great idea. Sanding off the original coating is a pain in the ass. I am going to do my own shortly, but I will think of this at 2am the morning when my hands are bleeding.

Received these back today, originally black. They look like new, I'd recommend to anyone in need of a tidy or a simple colour change.
I'm awaiting a refurbed steering wheel so will post full pics when its here.

Cheers Rob, well I've had a bit of practice now mate, the finish does take experience, but preparation is the key here, removing the old finish is very time consuming ball ache and I've had a few sets now with broken button surrounds , but I sorted out a repair for that now too

So how much for a full set for MFSW?
Are they easy for me to take apart my end without breaking?
Do you also do the actual buttons, with the white symbols on?
Tempted to get a full Royals/plastics combo done, just waiting to see what them cheap wheel covers look like in leather in an M wheel

Is this service still available? I was considering getting my trims wrapped for longevity but this seems like a decent alternative.
Trims are looking tired now these cars are getting older.

You need to remove the air bag to get access to the retaining screws.JINGLE wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2017 7:56 pm So how much for a full set for MFSW?

I don't have have MFSW but I'd imagine it will be a bit tricky to separate the buttons.
