Oh, yes, to tint is possible. But I would never have tinted the original one. Looks like some Japanese tuning car then I think it will be very nice. The shape is curvy on the new indicators, so the black paint will reflect in a nice way. Just wait and seeManiac wrote:In the same colour you'll really not notice it IMHO and yes you can paint the current one, tinted in the colour to allow it to work.

Re: LCI on RealOEM
Not sure how much the indicator trims cost but quite fancy these if they can be retro fitted, I've always felt there was something missing where the indicator is, will look good in chrome against Titanium
Will be interested to see if they do fit pre facelift cars as looking at the diagram below the trim looks like it has some locator tabs that go into bodywork? so I'm wandering if the body panel is a different pressing or modified on the facelift car.

I have talked with one guy that have fitted this one on his preface. The locator tabs that go into the bodywork is just plastic. And is easy to just remove. The whole thing has double-sided tape with glue from BMW, so you don`t have to use the tap. The connectors is the same and it will work for sure.TitanTim wrote:Not sure how much the indicator trims cost but quite fancy these if they can be retro fitted, I've always felt there was something missing where the indicator is, will look good in chrome against Titanium

The LCi headlights are on there too - http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mod ... g=63&fg=05
Look to have a very slightly different fitting (tab on the top edge) but otherwise identical.
