Sepang Hell Bronze Metallic 48k Miles £21k
Hi all,
Following my post 'will a pram fit' I have decided to get a 4 door BMW M or Merc AMG car. If the Z doesn't sell I will purchase something boring and put it away.
Pram / Baby post below:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=80778
The Spec is as Follows:
2007 First registered 11 Jan 2007
48K miles. This will rise about 600-1000 per month. I do mainly motorway miles so the car is driven longer journeys and always sensibly warmed up.
When I purchased the car (1st January 2013), it had 16.5k Miles and 1 previous owner.
Sepang Hell Metallic Bronze - 1 of 10 in the UK in this colour.
Red Leather interior.
Aluminium dash and Trim
Illuminated Gear Knob
Rear Parking Sensors
CD player in dash
CD multi Changer in glove box
Stubby Ariel
FSH at BMW for first 16k Miles.
BMW Privacy Glass on Boot and side windows.
No Kerbing to wheels.
Everything else is factory standard
The car is finance free and I would require cleared funds in my bank before letting car go.
No accident damage.
New MOT
New Brake Discs and Pads fitted to rear
When I collected the car I had the oil changed, it said due in 9000 miles, I also had the break fluid changed. This was done at Ridge Way BMW in Hook. I had a free health Check and replaced a key. All the rest of the work has been carried out at Brystone BMW Specialists in Totton including fitting below items. They are not the closet garage to me however the service has always been very good and they have a lot of knowledge with M cars so I make the effort.
Modifications:
Gruppe M Induction kit from the Group Buy I organised on here. I have the standard Airbox and this is a 30 minute job to swap back in.
Vibratech Engine Mounts - improved gear change. Well documented on here and a lovey machined quality items.
Rogue RTAB- improved rear end feel
Rogue Rear Top mounts- as above
All modifications carried out by Brystone.
http://www.brystone.co.uk/bmw
Service history
Running in Check 1235 Miles
BMW Barons Of Farnborough
Oil Service 11717 Miles
Brake Fluid
BMW Barons Hindhead
Oil Service 16964 Miles
Brake Fluid
BMW Wood in Hampshire (Now Ridgeway)
Inspection 1 29622 Miles
Brystone BMW Specialist
Oil Service 40887 Miles
Brake Fluid
Brystone BMW Specialist
Next is Oil service which is due in approximately 7000 miles. I would be happy to get this done early at Brystone and a health check at point of sale.
4 Goodyear Asymmetric 2 6mm.
If you give Brystones a call they will talk you through the car.
The car is in North Hampshire (M3) Junction 4a or 5 is the closest.
Test drive is available with fully comprehensive insurance and proof of funds.
I have made a number of impulse buys in the past and this is by far the best one. I believe the modifications are how the car should have been from the factory. These are approximately £1500 to purchase and fit and have been on the car less than a year.

Car looks great not too far away from me either.
Never seen it on the road before though which is a shame.

Perhaps I missed the year somewhere?
Will be interesting to see if the desirable colour will offset the flimper spec.
