haha i wish, technically its a front/side garden at my aunts/uncles place, they have stables etc and have like 22 acres of land so im always over there as they only live a few miles away and when i parked up on the grass out the front of theirs as they had loads of other cars there i couldn't resist taking a couple of pics when i got out and turned around and saw it all shiny and cleanMarlon wrote:Always liked this car (is that your back garden then?)

also the bonus of them having all that land and 6 kids means the eldest boy whose now 19 is getting into his cars (he only has a clio atm, but that's already his 4th car) and has converted/built a workshop in 1 of the old barns so will make my life easier when i want to work on my car and not have to do it outside on my drive haha

Re: Jingles White Z progress thread!! (PICTURE HEAVY)
ok so small update, i thought i had a broken rear spring after hearing some metal on metal noise... after investigation i realized i had no rear spring rubber mounts top and bottom.
i wanted to take more pictures etc but finished work late and was getting dark so didnt want to run out of time.
so on axle stands and wheel off i levered the caliper/arm to release the spring...... so it turns out that it was replaced UPSIDE DOWN by previous owner with no rubber on the bottom and some small butchered piece of rubber at the top.
the spring was literally just sitting here: (no rubber at bottom at all)
and heres what the spring looks like where it was rubbing on the bare metal (remember this is actually the top as it was upside down)
so spring turned the right way up and fitted with NEW rubber mounts top and bottom:
and finally wedged in and sitting correct:
and heres the other side all done:
and heres the pieces that the previous owner used/bodged on the tops only that are now fully replaced:

Very nice indeed, nice work fella! The Vreds are a great choice, Ive done over 15,000 miles on mine, plenty of tread left all round. I run them at settings listed on the door pillar.
The 2.0 is a great engine, revs freely and loves to be 'driven'. The weight distribution is nigh on perfect. Don't spend all your money on the mods, save some for when the niggly bits go wrong, they aint cheap!
