Another Darren Wood Recommendation

Post by LukeM » Tue Apr 21, 2015 12:37 pm

Had a few bits done the other day at Darren Wood - brake & clutch fluid, diff oil, gear oil all changed, new front caliper and full car health check.
The guys were very knowledgeable and really friendly, and not too expensive either. They commented on how the car was mint and didn't need anything else!
If you're in the North West, check them out - I won't be taking my car anywhere else in the future.
Highly recommended! :)

Got mine booked in there for an Inspection and some other little things (sidelight bulb, headlight washer jet, recent/first EML light). Looks to be about 50% of the cost of a local stealer.

We'll see how it goes.

I'm considering booking mine in for a health check.

Not sure how much the cost would be to check valve clearances and rod bearings.

An inspection 1 (with valve clearances) is £299 - which is less than half of what the local dealer charges.

You'd have to call/email them to get a quote for checking rod bearings.
