I think that's the car the interior alcantara pictures below are from.

It's not worth me paying a premium for customised seats when I've got to get them retrimmed...as I can get the basic seats for £1500 a pair.

A £1000 premium for used (even in as new condition) is a bit rich for me.

My other (ruled out) option was to retrim the M seats, but I'd still be left with seats that offer very little lateral support.

I suppose I could always go for a different/cheaper base seat, but I know I fit the Recaro PP ABE, am comfortable in them for hours on end, and they'll work with a standard 3-point belt.

I've also noticed that in some of the photos from the same seller (autopolsterei.pl) the finish looks superb...such as the anthracite checked alcantara, but some of the leather 'covers' look baggy or I'll-fitting.

If I'm paying that much, I'd want something more local so that I could call in personally if there's an issue.

I'd love to have the interior completely retrimmed in half-alcantara/half-leather, but there are other things I should probably spend the money on first (bearing shells, big brakes, supercharger, respray, etc.) and none of it may be worth it on a 152,000 mile Z4MC :P

However, every time I do a track day or ring trip, I come away moaning about the seats.

overtime i drive the ///M i say i love the look of the seats but they really don't offer enough support..... for shopping list for the Zed is about 25 grands worth , lol!!! But after all this time, she's worth it !!! this interior is bloody epic, the devil really is in the detail, I'm currently looking for the baggy sections you've mentioned... lol!! wonder if i could at least get the steering wheel off him

As I said, there's nothing on the alcantara interior that looks anything other than superb.

It's some of the other ads for the leather retrims that look a bit...errrr...'cheap'.

Might be worth pinging LG Trimming on here. His stuff looks excellent - and PPs seem to be a speciality.

Thanks.

I've got no problem with getting the retrim done, it's just getting a well-priced used set of seats and then choosing over quilted, checkerboard, piped, seats only, dash & door cards, full retrim, etc.

Think I like it...a lot (not necessarily with the red stitching though)...

The alcantara-trimmed photos are not mine, but the gear knob looks like a standard ZHP knob.
