My gear change was miles better on my si and now my m after a change to Redline MTL.

Yes, I never did get it that folk talk about it so much. Don't get the cdv thing either. Maybe I just don't appreciate the difference. To be honest I very seldom push the loud pedal down hard untill I'm nicely in second gear anyway. The tyres cost too much.

I contacted Opie oils to see which Millers oil I should use and I was advised to use Millers TRX 70W80 GL5 and if my gear change was stiff to mix it 50/50 with ATF DM. I have never heard of mixing gear box oils but might be worth a try seeing as they're the experts?. I had a T5 gear box in my Cossie engined TVR which used ATF so it's not uncommon.

I too have heard that suggestion but I didn't really feel like experimenting with it. Although simply changing the fluid helped, I do think that there is more room for improvement!

I had this 50/50 mix done earlier this year, and it’s made the change 100% better in my eyes.

Changed mine yesterday to Royal purple synchromax.
Massive improvement.1st to 2nd from cold and a slicker gear change throughout the box.

The best my gearshift ever was was with the synchromax and a fresh clutch bleed. Strangely it reverted to its older ways not too long after so I’d be interested to hear how you get on with it Jon.

Try upgrading engine and gearbox mounts to Improve the 1st to 2nd change.
