They look awesome but I think it would take too much attention away from the car, as it does look too 'busy' as others have said.

I would compare it to a paisley shirt — nice to look at but bad to wear.

Are they 19's an is that lowered, that does suit the car

No they were 18's and it was on FK Springs, but I think Eibach would have looked just as good but been slightly less harsh.
I bought and sold the car (my first Zed) with these wheels on and to be honest, I didn't realise how lucky I was, or the value of them. It was only after people started to comment on them that I discovered they weren't standard Zed wheels !
If I had a standard 2.5 or 3.0 Zed again, I'd be on the look out for a pair instantly , but I dont think I could justify changing them onto an Alpina or //M. They come on the 1 Series M Sports too, I think

does anyone know if the original 9j / 10j M4wheels fit on the e89 z4?

i am looking at a pair that come with 235,40 and 265, 35 tyres.

I appreciate your thoughts

Yes they do. A forum member has a set on his 35is, German fella iirc
