Re: M /// Max wheel offset question
Should be ok with low 30s on the front and low 20s on the rear

Re: M /// Max wheel offset question
for safe offsets with this widths and sizes id go with mid 30s and mid 20s on the back, this will allow you to mess around with different tyre sizes and aspects in the future, too low offset will lock you to a certain size.

Re: M /// Max wheel offset question
Are you sure those are the right sizes? They are nearly 3cm different in diameter, front to back.

Yes mate but may need 10mm spacer to get away from strut on inside + a 265 35 profile tyre will be closer to original rolling circumference & arch gapYorkie Z wrote:New question. Could I get a 9.5 ET38 alloy with 265/30/19 on the rear.??

Re: M /// Max wheel offset question
Had a 19x10 et20 rear with 265/35 or 30/ tyre on my previous one with no issues at all. Could probably have went up to a 275 with no issues.

Re: M /// Max wheel offset question
that won't fill out the arch however, may appear slightly sunken in ( I'm talking about with spacer) without the spacer that will look frankly silly..... mid twenties is a nice rule of thumb for a 9.5" width rim.Yorkie Z wrote:Perfect, that's music to my ears. Re: M /// Max wheel offset question
CSL rear is ET27 so that might give you an idea of what it will look like with a 10mm spacer (ish).

Re: M /// Max wheel offset question
Not sure it would look "silly" without the spacer Beedub , it would sit virtually as OEM 224s do less approx 2mm so barely noticeable
The spacer would probably be a necessity though as without it the rear wheel face would sit 14mm further in than 224s / a 15mm spacer could be used instead of 10mm , depends what stance Yorkie is after
RE the arch gap i'm referring to "gap" between tyre & arch lip as opposed to the wheel face filling arch
