Love the Interlagos blue and the rare caramel leather (biased on that one!).

No, that does look like a good price for a low mileage example.Muckinonthesofa wrote: ↑Fri Feb 26, 2021 3:00 pm Neilson wrote: ↑Fri Feb 26, 2021 12:23 pm

Although I'm not a fan of the interiro either - the first MC I Looked at was Interlagos with Sepang leather and that was stunning!

Sitting at £14K just now, which doesn't seem dear with less than a day to go!
But I'm pretty sure the Ms have a ZF gearbox, unlike most other BMWs. And the service details don't mention valve clearances, although knowing Will at TWG they may well have been done.

Seems like a bit of a bargain if it goes for under 15k to be honest

Nope, M's have a ZF gearbox, not that it really matters.BTZ461 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 08, 2021 1:20 amGetrag gearboxes on Z4M and Z4 chassis.Mr Tidy wrote: ↑Sun Mar 07, 2021 10:10 pmSitting at £14K just now, which doesn't seem dear with less than a day to go!

bang on - ZF gearbox in the M. It's actually stronger than the Getrag in the E46 M3 out of interest.... again not that it matters particularly!

It's the (essentially) same gearbox that is also used in the non M z4, also used amongst others in cars like the mighty 118d
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZF_S6-37_transmission
The e46M3 does use a getrag box, I believe it's not possible to fit that in the z4 chassis, happy to be corrected though.

It had Bilsteins fitted a few years ago, so maybe the trim didn't go back right!
Just noticed it's wearing over-sized tyres for some reason, although I suppose they will protect the rims better.
Anyway 3 bids in the last minute, and it looks like it made £14,860, so with 6% commission that's £15,750. Still the Eventuri intake is probably worth £500!
