Funny old thing my MC came with exactly the same wood interior and it was the first thing I did was get the dash Replaced, as it just does not look correct in a sports car!

We had a 9-3 Aero conv., nice looks, even stylish, but only for fans of torque steer. Poor handling thanks GM underpinning and Vectra components.

Yeah I had a 93 Aero although it was really a Vauxhall they have fiat parts which if I’d known it had Italian parts on it I’d never have touched it,cost a fortune in repairs

Great example , miles & price , a decent prospect for anyone hunting a ZMR right now though as BG points out the trend is without question downwards from here onMKZ4000 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 6:21 pm https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... n=standard

718 prices are tumbling like a mountain goat thats lost its footing...I’ve never seen Porsche dealers slash prices again and again like they are right now. 3 718 Boxster T’s for example that I was keeping an eye on have dropped £6k in the last two months and probably will keep going I’d think.

So unloved....
The Cayman 981 i had still seem to be retailing at the similar price as i paid for mine nearly 2 years later...I should never have sold it.

I’d think the punters willing to throw around £50k on a 2nd car that already is a bit of a wounded animal right now are falling, £30-35k for a 981 with a 6 banger is still pretty attractive. Just imo.Z4M-2006 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 8:34 pmMad thatjohn-e89 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 8:25 pm 718 prices are tumbling like a mountain goat thats lost its footing...I’ve never seen Porsche dealers slash prices again and again like they are right now. 3 718 Boxster T’s for example that I was keeping an eye on have dropped £6k in the last two months and probably will keep going I’d think.

Couldnt agree more.... 981 is a cracking car in right, colour spec and wheel combo... So much better than the 911 alternative at that price point.john-e89 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 8:41 pmI’d think the punters willing to throw around £50k on a 2nd car that already is a bit of a wounded animal right now are falling, £30-35k for a 981 with a 6 banger is still pretty attractive. That MR does look a bit of a bargain with that mileage.
But the same thing happened towards the end of last year - which is what led me to buy my MC just before Christmas! Even if it made selling my 3.0Si a challenge.
But then post-lockdown prices just took off!
Although whether the same happens next Spring is anyone's guess.

Have had tw0 93s over the last 3 years doing 50k miles in them. Cost me £0 in repairs, love them!

Returning to Z4Ms - that one at Hatfields looks like a 'doer upper'. The front bumper appears to have been cracked and bodged between the grilles, the high level brake light is cracked (not a big problem), but it is lacking the leather dash that most people want. Still cheap though, but probably for a reason.john-e89 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 8:25 pm 718 prices are tumbling like a mountain goat thats lost its footing...I’ve never seen Porsche dealers slash prices again and again like they are right now. 3 718 Boxster T’s for example that I was keeping an eye on have dropped £6k in the last two months and probably will keep going I’d think.
