Well it's cheaper than some of the low mileage ones Haxagon have advertised, although it's possible it was one of them!

Probably falls into the same category as this 9K mile Interlagos Roadster:- viewtopic.php?f=9&t=122316

I honestly dont know how anyone can let a car sit without using it. Total waste of a car thats made to be driven and driven hard

Agreed a total waste if not used, and if you buy one like that using it will just kill it's value.

Although no more than if you had bought it nearly new in 2006/07/08, so I suppose if you have the budget and want one as close to new as possible to actually use it won't lose any more value than if you had bought one back then for similar money!

Well out of my budget, but I am starting to see the appeal because I lost all interest in new BMWs around 2010 when every model got a turbo (or 2), flappy-paddle gearbox, fake pops and bangs from the exhaust and "piped" sound through the speakers. :(

I saw a 1M last week parked up in St Johns Wood which had done just 600 miles.

Rumour has it the car sold for £65,000 in Feb this year, £25,000 more than its retail price in 2011, (not including inflation).

Can see how and why people do it. Although I wouldn’t personally.

Even if it did go up in value, I still couldnt let a car just sit there. Especially something so driving focused.

I had a bike that I restored and then only put 400 miles on it 2 years (had other bikes at the time), I sold that simply because I wanted it to be used even though they were, and still are going up in value

Looks like it is (was) the Hexagon car. Traded out, retail reduced. Been for sale for at least two years, was originally for sale Stg44k as we recall. Nice spec, and would be a good car to own. However still priced more than the market says its true value is.

Yes I offered them £39k for that back in July 19 but they would not budge on the price!

That looks like a bad decision on their part then as they must have got less than that for it! :?

Yes agree, however I’m content with mine now and wouldn’t change it for any other one as it’s starting to look a great car now that I have done a few nice upgrades such as OEM polished engine strut brace, aero side skirts, and I also have a OEM set of CSLs sat in the garage waiting to fit.

This same model and the same colour was in my blind spot on the A2 Kent sometime last year. It followed for a while in my blind spot, me in the MR and then let out an almighty bellow as it let rip When it found a long stretch on the M2 end. I embarrassingly almost crashed, at the startling and expected roar. Still rings in my ears every time I see it.

The 1M!

If Mike Tyson was a car....

Depends how many cars you've got. Can't drive all of them at the same time...

I feel the value of your car would just constantly dwindle on your mind. Like a weight hanging over your shoulders, every mile knocking however many pence or pounds off the value! Every drive in the rain worsening it. A bit OTT to me, but fair play. Some of the great classics it's nice to see an almost brand new version of it many years later to remind us what they were like new.

It's only the same as buying a new car and that first 10 metres from the dealership loosing you 20%
