Nice, but not the “colour coded” interior trim. There’s a reason BMW didn’t offer it as an option . . . Or did they?

Needs a little work to get it back to standard. It missed an oil service in 2016. Depends if you’re a purist or not I guess.

I’ve seen it on the FB forums and was touted at £20k. Had no idea it had that interior though :D

I enquired about that one. It’s a really nice car and service history was great from memory. It’s being sold on behalf of the owner and I was offered to view the car with him to really know it’s history.

Only reason I didn’t progress was budget. It probably doesn’t need rod bearings and vanos on those miles yet but I just wanted some money in reserve ready.

Its interesting reading.

The Porsche thing at the min is everything is worth like 10k more than it was 6 months ago. My dads 991.1 2012 21k literally has everything we had valued at Kendal Porsche against a new Cayman GTS and they offered 46k I did a WBAC last week and they offered 58k for it. 12k more in 6 months. The 996 4S we have has also appreciated 6k too.

I put the Z4M in, mines a rare combo being imola on imola and got offered 2k less than I payed 2 years ago and I got it for a really good price then. Motorway offered 2k less than that... sub 10k... Its on 71k but is an early 06. Equivalent cars up for sale for 15-17k but lots seem to be sitting and prices seem high.

Im all up for prices going up but I just think the market isn't supporting these prices lots of those cars have been sitting for months.

Prices vs actuality seems to be a big discrepancy. Could be wrong tho as the more they appreciate the better!

People saying both ways that the market will only get better or the bubble with burst but the Porsche markets doesn't matter what it is everything has gone up significantly not just over 6 months but the last 4 years. For example 997.2 GTS are more now than they were new 12 years later, knocking on the door of 996.2 and 997.1 GT3 money.

Don't forget though Porsche have put their prices up 30% at least in the last 10/15 years where bmw is roughly the same... A new z4m40 jobby is the same price now as a MR was 15 years ago...

To add some balance, it took ages to sell my 981S PDK in Basalt Black with 20" wheels.

They are super spec sensitive to sell, given the absolute misery standard spec. Mine was an ex demo with 16k+ of options, yet there was always one or two that were missing, when negotiating a sale. Eventually a chap from the Porker Silverstone school bought it. Nice chap.

I did well out of my 993C2. Not really keen on the augmented steering and size of the 981 or 991.2s etc, that I've experienced.

The Zed remains a complete bargain for what it is. A manual GT3 spec engine in a convertible with limited grip. Perfect for :driving:

Most people are unaware of the M model. Those that are usually mention Clarkson's poor review. Unlike the 964RS and M3 CSL, which were also not very well received by the media at launch, the Z4M still isn't in big demand. In the UK at least. Europe is a different matter entirely.
'07 Z4M Interlagos Blue. All options except extended leather.

I remember the reviews when they were new not being too favourable.

Prices still seeem swtrong, although it's hard to tell how many are selling.

Autotrader reckon this one is a good price, and it's a great colour combination IMHO:- https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... d=Nearly%2
