It's a well-written and very detailed advert but at that price I think he's hoping to find someone desperate to find one in Sepang, otherwise it looks dear when there is a Silver Grey one £1,000 cheaper that's only done 38K miles! And his doesn't even have cup-holders.

I wouldn't be put off by the crash repair if there was proof of the Autolign inspection - for all I know my car might have been damaged in the past, but not badly enough to get an Insurance CAT marker.

But you'd really have to love the colour and personally I'd rather have Imola or Interlagos, especially with Champagne or Sepang trim but that's because I like some colour!

One thing that always surprises me is how many MCs always seem to be for sale when only about 600 came to the UK. :o
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

No doubt the market prefers certain colours and can make a sale easier to achieve. Not sure personally if we would be up for a Cat D car, because of the problems when your mood has changed and you want to move on. Mind you, thinking about it our average length of ownership seems to be about a minimum of six years, and we tend to acquire more than we sell :D which can lead to problems with the significant other :!:
The sepang advert certainly attracted my attention, primarily for the photo's I guess. Wish the owner luck, and as for the price, good luck with that!

If my experience of trying to buy an R8 is anything go by, this will sell easily. Demand seems to be high for good, manual, rare sports cars at the moment.
Z4MC, Silver/Grey, Imola Red Leather, Sat Nav, Heated Seats, DSP, Intravee, Stubby, ZHP, Gruppe M, CDV, Bilstein B12's, Vibra-Technics engine mounts.

Would be better with a black interior to give contrast.

Would rather have a ///M roadster and £10k in my pocket.

There is, and as I'm finally back in Exeter and on t'internet I managed to list it for sale.

If I could find my camera lead I'd post the photos I took after I'd cleaned it - the joys of moving house.

Sure it will see strong demand & right now wouldn't be at all surprised to see this hit £14k / £15k end bid plus the £900 fee ( can't be sure but have they sneaked a extra 1% on the buyers premium from last months auctions ? )

It was always 6% buyers fee.
On a similar site 'The Market' it is 5% sellers fee.
