Gov car Road Tax bands changed shortly after they were 1st released, so a few got registered at a lower rate - bit like what happened in April 2017 when they again changed the rules, as too many cars were qualifying as exemptBeemingallover wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2019 12:49 pmWhy lower VED?srhutch wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2019 4:20 pmLower VED as well.drummachine wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2019 11:35 am Apologies if already posted, this one seems a good price for what looks like a well cared for car?

Anyone know the history to this - £15k seems like good value for a Sepang coupe on this mileage?

Yes apparently it was re orded Cat C in May 2012 - was wondering if anyone could remember anything being posted on here.
Also does anyone have a link to the database that serves as a record of production volumes - done a search but no success?

Previous keepers number in eBay advert
Maybe worth giving them a call to see if they have any pictures of the damage or a report.
I seriously doubt it would be Cat C due to damaged wing and the Bronze paint being expensive

That's an absolute bargain of a car.... Looks like it has been well serviced over the past few years as well.

I’d urge anyone spending 20K to be cautious unless you plan on keeping it long term (coupe or not).

That's a weird statement Anyone spending money on a car, might, just might lose a bit of money when you come to sell it.....shock horror. Spending £20k on a MC is probably one of the safest places to put your money when compared to other alternatives....A45, M240, S3, TTS, 987S, 370Z....which would perform better over 5 years?

The prices in UK are a little higher than in NZ. On top of that , there's only a handful of Z4M coupes registered in NZ. Our best chance is to import one and pay the extra. So £20k ends up being almost £25k by the time it's road legal here in NZ. But I wouldn't be going through all this trouble unless I really wanted a particular car. So short term is not on the cards, and in the direction modern cars are going, I would be inclined to keep the Z4m for a very long term.
