Tyre recommendations
Just wanted peoples recommendations on tyres - running the standard wheels - car is a weekend toy so not a daily but not tracked - most driving is on typical Cornish B roads.
Not sure if it will have any bearing at all but I do intend on changing the suspension to the B12 kit in the near future

Tyre recommendations
I've had a bunch of premium road tyres over the years accross different cars including Z4M's, Bridgestone Potenza's, Pirelli PZero, Continental Sport Contact 3 and 5, Michelin Pilot Super Sport and Sport 4's. Out of all of them, the ones which offered the best road handling all year round in my opinion were the Michelin Pilot Sport 4's, they weren't the best wearing nor the outright best in the wet. Saying all this it's not like I tested them back to back and for months on end, I just rememeber each time I went to 4's I immediatly thought how much better everything felt.

Thanks for the feedback, through general research the MPS4’s were what I was leaning towards to go for, so good to hear you feel they are the best all round
Anyone find a particular profile back and front to perform best - currently running 45 on the front and 40 on the rear

I have had four sets of MPSS on the rear in recent years. After experimenting with several premium tyres in the early years of MR ownership. Absolutely perfect for fast dry Cornish roads. That said, so many people on here have raved about MPS4s that tomorrow I am getting a set on the rear. Still have MPSS on the front for the time being, but I can't see that being a big issue.

I used to run Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric’s on my old MC. Had the perfect grip to be fun when required.

My MC came with 19" CSL Reps and MPSS tyres. They were great most of the year, but had very limited grip in cold and damp conditions although most people reckon MPS4s work much better in poor weather.
Anyway I've gone back to 224 wheels and after they were refurbed I had Kumho Ecstas fitted after reading some positive feedback on here, and I've been really pleased with them. They felt really sure-footed even on the wet day we had when I went on a road trip with some mates in Wales back in May, and we weren't hanging about!
I went for the OE 225/45 size on the front, but had 255/45 on the rear for a bit more comfort and I've had no rubbing even on H & R coil-overs that are about 22mm lower at the front and 18mm lower on the rear.

The Michelin PS4s on my E89 are the best tyres I've had.

I've always found the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric’s to have a great balance of dry grip, wet performance and ride comfort.

Based on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=176LXZFUucc I bought the new Bridgestone Potenza Sports to replace my rear Michelin Supersports (both were 265/40/18). Couldnt easily source the PS4S and my tire shop gave me a good price with fitting. Once the fronts wear out a bit more i'll replace them with the Bridgestones too.

For me, I'd go for whatever of the following was available at the best price at the time, and I'd be happy with any of them...assuming they're available in the tyre sizes you need - now in bold as some forum users don't think I made this clear enough

I had PS4S installed on Saturday on my CSLs and I had an old set of vred sessantas on and the front end is night and day so feels much lighter and more precise.
Mine were on back order for 2 months tho 265 30 19s could get 235 35 19s next day but I think worth the wait!

Well, I did put the size disclaimer in my first paragraph ...and I think the Goodyear Supersport beats the Michelin Supersport for outright dry grip...and is the equal of the PS4S.
