I need to replace the back boxes on my Z4MR, any recommendations? Not looking for anything too noisy, go touring, though nice rich sound would be good.
I have a quote of OEMs from dealer of £948 + vat. What's an alternative?
Thanks.

How come you need new back boxes out of interest? Can’t help with your main question but Remus sound similar to what you’re after.

The clamps in front of the back boxes have corroded through, the back boxes themselves seem okay.

Unless you want new back boxes with a different sound, just chop the clamps off and the flange and run a sleeve between the two. Should cost less than £100 to do both boxes and done in about an hour. Any half decent exhaust shop will be more than capable.
