That's a bit dismissive - as you have said it's (supposed to be) just a topic of conversation isn't it?
At the end of the day unless you have, or want, one like that you probably don't really care!
It's not like it's an MC!
Coupes because stunning!

Worth 50p and a conker
For all anyone knows all its mileage might have been on journeys of plus 20 miles and have no issues with being warmed up thoroughly, might never have had a short journey in its short working life.

Ermmmmm...excuse me sir...begging your pardon, if I may, if that’s alright with you sir, might I be so bold as to suggest that perhaps the car in question has....well....perhaps it’s possible it ‘might’ have done all journeys of more than 20 miles sir...? Please do excuse me for being so bold and forward sir....I’ll go back under the stairs now sir and keep out of the way your lordship.

It was meant as a dig at all the scare-mongering on here about making sure your rod bearings are perfect, or that an Inspection hasn't been carried out 200 yards too late; or that non-BMW Start-marked tyres are fitted; or any one of the other 'dire warnings' we see on here.
Apologies to everyone if it wasn't seen in that context

I could do with a good seeing too, it's been me & Rachel for too long, and I've go no more puncture repair kits left.
