New M wheel - best price.

I would love a less chunky wheel for my zed. The stock M one is a fat boy.

New M wheel - best price.

I’ve been quoted roughly £550 from a dealer. I thought about refurb - however once you factor in new trims - it’s gonna be almost £400, whereas buying a new one and selling the old would likely be less costly.

However - the wheel is FAR too thick...

I redid my original wheel at Royalsteeringwheels with alcantara, without the original leather. Became just the right thickness!

I bought a spare wheel and got it retrimmed in Alcantara.

Like you I told Royal to remove the original leather rather than wrapping the Alcantara over it. As a result the wheel became 1mm thinner which has provided a better feel when I grip it.

Just on the inlays for the inside of the steering wheel when you buy from BMW you get the two side pieces and the bottom piece with the M logo.

Anyone know if the button surrounds are available from anywhere?
