Hi
Looking into possibility of fitting cruse control to 2006 Z4M Roadster, have seen you tube video where fitted to 2003 roadster where cruse control simply plugs into spare leads already in stealing column .
Also have seen the BMW deleated the spear leads to the loom post 2004 ?
Can anybody confirm either way if this can be retro fit without breaking into the existing loom ie buy the cruse control ,cut stealing column trim and plug in and away you go.
Thanks
Allan

Retro fit cruse control to Z4M Roadster
Hi Allan,
I'm pretty sure BMW stopped fitting the full loom for all options in 2004, so you will need a supplementary loom to get cruise to work on your MR.
However the good news is that forum member "srhutch" will make it up for you for sensible money if you message him.

Like Mr Tidy, said. The Z4M needs the wiring loom a new wire run all the way into the engine ECU and also coding. I bit the bullet and had it retrofitted years ago by Witchblair Engineering for about £250. And he also enabled the single touch, triple blink indicators as a freebie
