Yes it works, mate rebuild his X5 and had a new MOT and his emissions were very low, so he wrote to the tax office, they wanted to see his original MOT paperwork, and he ended up having his tax reduced by 50%.

Unfortunately I haven’t got my MOT paperwork so don’t know the emissions output on my car, has anyone else ?

MOT doesn’t test CO2 emissions.

Compared to

RX8 post 1st July 2008 258g/km = 2350 Euro

Well it won't if it only applies to post 2017 cars as per the article.

Z4M owners have already had one retrospective VED increase when the post March 2006 changes came in about 2008.

Yes - They got me when I bought my then new Discovery 3 in March 2006 - I was the wrong side of the line by a week :headbang:
