Thanks. It was highly refreshing to view a car that had been presented well and lived up to its advert :)

A strange question, but are you original from Liverpool by any chance, as we used to have a guy in our snooker club called Wonky Donkey...and I'm wondering if it's you (easily verifiable by the reason for his nickname).

...oh, and sod waiting for spring/summer...if it's cold & dry take the damn thing out for a hoon - you'll learn more about it's handling on the limit (admittedly heaving reduced limits) in these conditions than you will on a warm summer's day. :poke:
I'm doing my best not to be offended, but no, I'm not a scouser  Nor do I play snooker. Maybe I have an imposter?? My 3.0i E85 has had plenty of crisp sunny winter days out and about, so the M will serve that same purpose, fear not :)

Nice one pal... and definitely a sensible choice on the two car plan 👌 I’ve opted for completely opposite kind of cars now I’ve got the MR, with an F10 520d so I get to drive around in a sofa during the week 🤣

That is a very similar set up to when I had my MR and I had a E61 520d as my daily! :D

Well done on your Z4MR purchase. I think the light colour paint, really highlights and flatters the lines as well as the design of the Z4 brilliantly.

It probably is if you are doing some serious mileage in your daily, but as I don't I'm quite happy with my MC and E90 330i (an early one with the wonderful N52 engine).
Coupes because stunning!

Thanks for all the kind words, chaps. I cover over 20,000 miles per year, so my 200 bhp diesel Audi is just the ticket for the daily commute, giving me almost 50 mpg. The M came out for its first outing from home today - I'm already enjoying the effect the diff has on the car's behaviour compared to the open diff in my 3.0i. We just need some sun now!

Wise words indeed, but seeing as only 1,206 Ms were registered in the UK based on tony's database that may be a challenge!

But the Z4M experience is really worth it if you get the opportunity. 8)
