Off on a European trip, does the E46 space saver fit on a standard M?
Cheers

Fit where? No spare tyre on a Z4. Best to just get the tyre goo stuff if the worst happens that’ll get you to a tyre shop

So when you have a puncture and put on the space saver where do you put the full size wheel? 🙄

Right! Provided you have no passenger and a folding toothbrush for luggage. 😉

Does on an E46... so assumed it would on a E85/86? Does it not?

Front brakes are larger and borrowed from the CSL. There isn’t much clearance with the stock 18”s.

I bought a tyre plugger kit like this one ages ago: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TUBELESS-TYR ... Sw9UlZj~LF

I've never needed it on my ZM but used it twice to fix punctures on my wife's Mini with runflats and the repairs lasted for the life of the tyres. Provided the puncture is caused by a nail or screw and on the main area of tread its very easy to do the fix with tyre still on the wheel and on the hub once you've identified the culprit's position.

You could then fill the tyre with the tyre gloop as "belts and braces".
