I seem to recall not many white MC were produced. Bit of a bargain if the money tree at the bottom of the garden is in flower

LoL, pay all that money and then you need another 3k to spray it a decent colour.
There is a reason they are so rare in White.

White seems to fall in and out of fashion.
I remember all those white MG Metros in the mid 80s. My boss bought a brand new white Capri Injection in 1985 and even had the bumpers and pepperpot alloys painted white - it was horrible!
During the E85/86 era white wasn't popular, but look how many white E89s there are!

The E89 is a much simpler/conservative shape than the E85-86. Bangles one properly successful flame surfaced car, deserves metalic paint to show it of property. White is just tooo flat. Suits the boring shape of a coxster or TT far more. Just add a few Martini stripes.Mr Tidy wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2019 9:03 pm White seems to fall in and out of fashion.

I think white looks good with plenty of black contrasting bits, but can be a bit 'meh' if just white.
Edit: I know the same can be said about black cars (esp with black interiors) so maybe I should walk away from this one..

Yep. You can buy one if you've sold yours. Love a good wedding. We could start a business. 'Wedd Z', how about it?

I dont know why people think white e86's are apparently rare?
There are lots and lots of them (as I recall bmw also had a large driving school with white e86's )
This one is expesive for sure, but there are currently 4 of them for sale on mobile.de (so germany, like this one), ranging from €27k-€36k which are normal LHD prices.
Sure not as abundant as black or gray (although mobile has just as many gray offerings atm), but definately not rare.
