Suspect you can draw parallels with other aspects of life but having recently satisfied my fascination for new with the latest hybrid variant from Mercedes I now find myself as happy as the proverbial pig with this dirty old girl  :driving:

Nice, I’d liken them to Conan the Barbarian & Bond to drive as I also have a C300h.

Try not to look at the mpg comparison, our friends said we were bu££shi??ing them with our +50mpg between 80-100 mph autobahn / resort shopping on our recent EU trip - Mrs took this pic as they only understand litre consumption

Fair play - I had the plug-in 350e and averaged 37mpg but I did drive it like a stole it most of the time

To be honest I was quite happy with the off the line performance but only realised how boring it was after I picked up the Z4MC

Your Zed is only going to appear more fun as the future of so called motoring unrolls before us. No doubt at some point, some bright spark will come up with a way to make the new breed of cars actually fun. Just hasn't happened yet.

An affordable, personal drone. Now that would be a good way to comute accross the river to work. Bet I would still get charged a toll for crossing the river though.

I just ordered a BMW i3s as a company car ( low tax, does the job) but after a solid 10 hr drive round some of Scotland’s best roads yesterday in the ZMR nothing compares to an NA straight six, manual gearbox and limited “ driver aids “
I saw the electrified an Aston DB5 recently WTF is that about!!!!

I love our i3, great fun to drive, quiet, smooth and refined. It can give my MR a run for its money at legal speeds too. And it costs me zero to charge it here... what's not to like?
