If you are replacing your suspension it’s probably wise to change as many bushes as possible as if they fail later on you will have to replace them AND carry out another geometry alignment.Gwest44 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2019 6:09 pm So ahead of booking the car in for the discs and pads fitting and the suspension replacing I have been advised to replace the following:
Front wishbone bushes - £125 set
Front anti-rollbar bushes - £37 set
Engine mounts - £272 both
Advice was from manufacturer so really just looking to qualify before purchase - thanks in advance
I have replaced all rear bushes (including RTAB) + front anti-roll bar bushes when the coilovers were fitted. (And upgraded the rear camber arms to the adjustable powerflex ones)
Did that out of common sense as opposed to a recommendation.
My advice is to replace as many suspension bushes as possible at this stage. Engine mounts won’t mess up the geometry if you get them replaced at a later stage, so i wouldn’t bother with them if I were you. (And I didn’t)
