On what metric do you base that statement exactly?

Bespoke engineering and testing.

Not to mention it will be easier to move the car on if it’s on OEM suspension.

I suggest you sit in a car with brand new M suspension vs one with OE equivalent Bilstein/aftermarket suspension to discover for yourself.

Did you compare Bilstein to old Sachs suspension or brand new though?

Oh right, just your opinion then, no actual facts to back up your statement, how surprising.

This a forum of course it’s my opinion

Bilstein shocks are stiffer than Sachs - fact.

Car will be easier to sell with a refreshed OEM set-up as opposed to an aftermarket - fact.

The only 'fact' I can see here is that stiffer/softer does not equal better/worse.

I have the best of both worlds in the PSS10/B16 kit.

I can have it rock hard for the track, and soft for the road. Even the hard setting isn’t as fidgety & unbalanced as brand new OEM kit.

Just wanted to come back to you regarding this question now I have purchased the BC Coilover kit - when I spoke to BC racing they indicated there was nothing more I needed to purchase to swap-out the standard set-up.

Should I still be looking to purchase the replacement bushes or are they only required with the Bilstein kit - excuse my ignorance here just want to make sure I have everything required before I book the car in for fitting?

I’d be putting new spring pads/top mounts on, as they’ll be past their best too.

I’d also be checking the condition of suspension/steering/roll bar bushes whilst I was in there.
