I would be interested to see how well Santorini Blue suits the Z's lines.

An M should not be subtle or a shrinking violet in colour, dammit!
Remember seeing this at an event, thinking was too bright & nah, then a few years later I bought a Samoa Orange TT...
There you go.

These colours were popular on Audi RSes and they always looked Very Cool

They’re Solar Orange, Samoa was darker.

This looks an excellent example. I remember when these came out. The sound they made was music. It still looks fresh

That is a lovely colour. Very similar to , Spirit Blue of my old Fiat Coupe. 8) For me the Z4 deserves metallics though, flatter colours do not show off that long bonnet quite as spectacularly

I completely agree with you about metallics suiting the Z4. So I find it funny that so many people (myself included) lust after Imola Red. To my knowledge (having never examined one up close) it's a solid paint.

Which takes me back to the OP. The red of that Ferrari is gorgeous and I think would really suit the lines and shape of the E85/6.

How much are resprays these days?! :-?

Indeed the one other Z4///M, I considered buying, was Imola Red, with a tan interior.

I bought the Silver Grey one though.

Not all the time, but when the sun hits it and the sky is typically British, the flame surfacing and reflections combination is sublime. 8)

Don’t get me wrong, I love mine. These are two of the first photos taken of mine when it was mine, by PerryGunn’s better half. Shows exactly what you’re talking about 8)

I'm going to get mine done in this colour in a few months. It's a roadster so I hope the red looks good with a black top/hardtop.

Wrapped or painted? If painted would be great if you could document the journey with pics.

Debating between full respray or a new product called paint protection spray. It goes over the existing paint but the paint protection is mixed in with any colour you like which is self healing and it can be removed without damaging the original paint.

I was chatting to the guys on the Litchfield stand at autosport a couple of weeks ago as they’re offering this now. It’s not cheap, but seems a great alternative to wrapping, whilst still being able to get back to the original paint if you need to.

Have you seen the self healing ? I saw a guy on another stand take a wire brush to a spare panel, and then heat it up to get rid of the scratches. I was sceptical about it before I saw him do it :?

And on topic, alpine white if we stick to stock colours; or maybe a pearlescent white with red leather
