I was chatting to the guys on the Litchfield stand at autosport a couple of weeks ago as they’re offering this now. It’s not cheap, but seems a great alternative to wrapping, whilst still being able to get back to the original paint if you need to.

Have you seen the self healing ? I saw a guy on another stand take a wire brush to a spare panel, and then heat it up to get rid of the scratches. I was sceptical about it before I saw him do it :?

Yeah it would be Iain at Litchfield who’d be doing it. I’ve had it done to my LM1 by them, not the colour change just full car PPS. Seems to offer good protection and very easy to clean.

I think White looks great on so many BMW's but while rare with our M's, too many other cars have it for my liking.

I've always loved strong, deep blues on the Z4 bodystyle.

Java green is a sexy colour - I'd love to see what it looked like on an E85 chassis. Has anybody ever seen something similar?

After seeing all that photos I realised that I have the best colour, exactly as I have imagine it as a child. Black with red interior. Not rare but I love it.

Java would be my choice on an Audi S1 (it's a £2500 option) but not on a Z, I can't see past original BMW colours for these cars for some reason! I've a soft spot for green cars, green is very underloved, that's why I had to acquire this lime green S2000... Only 7 ever came to the UK, of these only 4 are still on the roads... Rare appeal 8) :

Back in something like 1997 BMW did a range of experimental colours for the Z3 coupe. One was this, Kyalami Orange - I would make an exception for this, a Z4MC in this colour would be outrageous!

The standard colours offered by BMW on the Z4M were the typical BMW "safe" but somewhat bland colours. I don't hate them but I think a car as lairy as the Z4M deserved some more exciting colour options.

The local dealer has actually a few times of late specced their showroom floor cars with wild colours from the Porsche palette!

The colour of that Z3M just screams "Max Power" to me! All it needs are some neons and Lambo doors".

Thanks to your sig, I realised if I can't find some Alpina Classic's in 18" , the style 32's you have would be a close match for what I want!

Was watching sideways Sid (very good youtuber) latest video on his gt4. He’s gone with the liquid wrap on that which is kind of like paint. From what I can tell it’s £1500 for any colour you like and it lasts over 5 years...now that makes that Ferrari colour from page 1 almost achievable. Anyone know someone who’s had this done and can share their experience with this?
