I need some vacuum support

Post by MapTo » Sun Dec 16, 2018 11:53 am

Hello members, i need some support. Last year i found one abandoned Z4 coupe & figure out to restore it in Z4M version. I use an engine from E46 M3 , change bearing ,water pump, pipes, oxygen sensors, vacuum lines, filter box , oil coolant radiator.... in 1 word - everything is changed with new OEM parts. I have just one trouble - E46 M3 have a fuel filter with vacuum regulator - Z4M doesn't have it ,but the vacuum line is still available. http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E86/E ... _air_line/ - rear end of number 15 . Please somebody to support me - where's going another end of this vacuum line. :? :?

I just had a look and it doesn't actually go anywhere - it's capped off! It was obviously easier to just cap off an E46 specific connection rather than manufacture a whole new vacuum rail :)
