M Badge left or right?

Post by EQLEF » Sat Dec 15, 2018 12:59 am

A Z parked next to me a few days ago, I noticed the badge was on a different side to mine. I googled it and found that they all seem to be on the left. Mine is the blue one. I bought as an ex demo in 2006. Anyone got any ideas why it would be that side?

Enjoy your Coupe only kwerk   On a real Zed, the key hole is on the right and on the ///M variant the badge sits proudly on the left? :D

I was going to say perhaps it had been debadged then someone attached a new ///M badge, but you mentioned it was ex-demo so should have been 'factory-fresh'. A bit unusual, but viva la difference

Your badge seems low and on the wrong side...and I don't see any keyholes ? My keyhole is chrome and quite visible. Not really performance issues so drive on and smile in your ///M. :D

Coupes have the keyhole within the BMW roundel

Looks more resolved (due to no keyhole) without any badge to my eyes. But I can't stand badges so maybe that's just me.
