Hi all, anyone else experienced any starter motor problems? I am getting a situation where I can sometimes get nothing, sometimes it wil click, or sometimes it will start perfectly. Any suggestions appreciated👍

Not had any issues on the Z4, but on the M5 and Alfa it tended to either be a sticky starter solenoid (M5) or ignition switch (Alfa).

Are you sure it’s the starter?

Could be the ignition switch, a common issue.

Nope, and only a ten minute job

I bought one of these from Quarry Motors for a tenner.
