Cleaned mine when I installed the Karbonius intake and it made a big difference to the idle. My car was only on 35k miles at the time.

I have removed it before for changing the throttle actuator TPS, but I need to find the how to guide for the removal sequence, if anyone has a copy/link that would be appreciated. Could help each other as two pairs of hands is good for those clips.
