I raced one in my TVR and i obliterated it...I loved them until that point...it must of been a V8 and im not sure id want one now as a TTrs would kill it these days.

Evora would definitely get my vote to try, far more engaging than the Z4M and a very communicative chassis.
I much preferred the Evora to the Z4M, although it was only an early N/A model I tested. Recommendation would be the Evora S.
I ended up going for an Exige Sport 350 as I was happy with the associated compromises of the Exige over the Evora.
Generally quite affordable to run (particularly in comparison to Audi/Porsche), it's only a Toyota engine and a bit of a parts bin special.
Replacement clutch (known weak point of the car) is an engine out job so keep that in mind.

Also, just seen the top down comment, go for an Exige V6 and you can take the roof panel out - best of both worlds.
Evora might be "raw" enough to not need to be a convertible though - worth trying both.

Watch out for electrical gremlins... v10 spider is a nice thing. They still look great but with supercar looks comes supercar repair bills. Service history and money spent is imortant. Mag ride is important although expensive to fix.. take one out for a day..

My son was an Audi apprentice. He used to tell me some of the R8 repair prices he saw going through job sheets, fearsome. He always used to say that a TTRS with magride seemed more sensible unless your first name was Sultan. Not the same if your after a V10 beast though.

I've just bought a 350 Sport as well and currently selling my Z4MR. Its a lot more raw than the Z4 but still very usable and i love the sound it makes! Having 350bhp and 1100 kilo's make for a very fun drive. I'm also tempted to put a Komo-Tec 390 Map on it soon tooMike. wrote: ↑Thu Nov 15, 2018 2:29 pm Evora would definitely get my vote to try, far more engaging than the Z4M and a very communicative chassis.

I'd recommend test driving one!

That is stunning OP.
A V10 just sounds fantastic!
I was following an M6 earlier today and dropped my window so I could hear it.

Delightful! The V10 is a proper upgrade to the Z4M! The values of these make them relative bargains at the moment...
