Changed the front TPS and oiled the throttle body linkages last night as the car can dip the revs a little when you depress the clutch when it's hot or in slow moving traffic. The car is smoother no and the gear change better too. I'll do the rear over the weekend and change the plugs.

I think you’re supposed to take it out of the box to make it smoother.

Well done 👍

A couple of questions:

1. What type of oil did you use? Is there any technical paper specifying what?

2. Did you / will you replace the other TPS (same part number) by the actuator, below the inlet manifold?

Did the rear one tonight - not as difficult as expected and I was able to re-use the clips. It's worth cleaningthe throttle bodies whilst you are in there too - disconnect the actuator linkage to open the butterfly valves. Car is Definately running smoother and pulling better 😊

It's just another little thing to tick off the list mate and it may encourage others to do theirs as it's relatively to do.

Excellent! Well done!
Did you have to use any kind of special pliers to remove and refit the 6 circlips?
Also and while you where there, did you jave a look at the idle control valve for actuation and cleanliness?
