Z4M GT4
Hi Z4MGT4, Just remembered, I have the original front wishbones with the offset nylon and brass bushing lollipops, that came off the GT4 when I had it, It was changed to E46 M3 arms and spindles. I also have the spindles, but these are E46 series, non M type, that clamp like the M3, but have the smaller hole for the Z4M ball joint.
Cheers

Cheers, that looks pretty mental! Is it still running an s54? What's the deal with the rear arch gap, different pickup points or something?

Hi, car is running lowered compression supercharged S54, as I wanted more power. Still in final sorting, as only just finished the project this year. As with any bespoke build, it takes forever! The arches are built as big as possible by BMW to take up to 710s in the rear with low ground clearance. I am running 680s with a slightly higher ground clearance to make life easier for loading, and I am not racing either. The pickups are way different, but not the reason for the gap. The car runs a LOT lower than a standard M, but it is not that obvious at first glance, as BMW put quite a bit of effort into the aero package. I think that's what drew me into it in the first place?

Interesting, I'd never read much about the car. Best of luck finishing it and would be great to see some vids or something when done. Cheers

Not sure on the wing but why not use one of Geoff steel's roof panels?

Finally found a wing off eBay. The only roof I could find was in Lithuania and the guy wanted £400 plus postage. A new one from BMW was surprisingly reasonable at £550 without the associated risks of buying from some guy in Eastern Europe. The GT4 is off for a new lick of Alpine white. I will post pics as soon as it gets back.

There's a guy on the Z4 facebook page who is offering to build carbon fibre panels for sensible money. He's apparently created parts for DTM cars so has the pedigree. Might be worth reaching out to see what he can build for you?
